As a **Security Officer - Telecom Patrol** in **Knoxville, TN** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and telecommunications location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify unusual conditions.

+ Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazardous conditions to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed while maintaining access control protocols.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR or first aid is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
