Job Title: Business Analyst 2

Duration: 2 months (Highly Likely to extend for full 18 months. Budget has already been confirmed for all of FY26, however finance requires quarterly POs, so the furthest current end date has to be 3/31/26)

Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday

Pay Rate Range: $25 to $31/hr

Candidate Requirements

Experience

+ **2–4 years** of relevant experience

+ **Disqualifier:** Candidates with 8+ years of experience (overqualified)

Education / Certifications

+ No degree required

+ Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus

+ Strong familiarity with Microsoft tools required

Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills (Minimum 2 Years Each)

1. **Lean Six Sigma Documentation**

2. Process documentation

3. Waste/hour analysis

4. Lean improvement implementation

5. **Power BI**

6. Data analysis and reporting

7. **Microsoft Office**

8. Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice to Have:

+ Microsoft Visio (process map creation)

+ Show enthusiasm and eagerness to learn

+ Demonstrate prior Lean documentation experience

+ Be self-directed with strong attention to detail

Job Responsibilities

+ Act as a Business Analyst / Business Operations Specialist for non-IT initiatives

+ Establish and maintain communication across business units

+ Maintain project documentation, metrics, and communications

+ Review contracts, cost proposals, and supplements

+ Document and improve business processes

+ Create work breakdown structures

+ Track budgets, expenditures, and cost controls

Core Skills & Competencies

+ Strong verbal and written communication

+ High attention to detail and customer focus

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

+ Knowledge of business and management principles

+ Analytical mindset with basic financial understanding

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

+ Enterprise application experience is a plus
