Our client, a leader in higher education, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Financial Aid Call Representative-Higher Education to join their team. As a Financial Aid Call Representative-Higher Education, you will be an essential part of the Office of Financial Aid supporting students and families. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
**Job Title:** Financial Aid Call Representative-Higher Education
**Location:** New York, NY 10003
**Pay Range:** $28-32hr
Duration 4 months ( January 26** **th** **2026 thru May 8** **th** **2026)
Monday - Friday except holidays, 9:45am - 4:15pm
(6.5 hours minus 1 hour lunch=5.5 hours per day )
What's the Job?
+ Provide phone coverage for the Office of Financial Aid, assisting students and parents with inquiries.
+ Respond to student and parent questions, documenting interactions thoroughly using Servicelink's portal.
+ Help students and families navigate Student Center regarding To Do list items or holds impacting financial aid and disbursement.
+ Assist families in navigating the Federal Government's Studentaid.gov website to apply for federal financial aid.
+ Coordinate with other offices to ensure students receive accurate and timely responses to their financial aid questions.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assist students and families.
+ Ability to follow FERPA guidelines to ensure the security and confidentiality of student information.
+ Reliable attendance and punctuality to maintain consistent support for the office.
+ Flexibility and professionalism in handling diverse inquiries and situations.
+ Willingness to learn and adapt, with training provided for specific systems and procedures.
