    Job Objective

    The Entry-Level Tooling Technician supports the tooling department by assisting with hands-on production tasks involved in the cup manufacturing process. This role is ideal for individuals starting out in machining, tooling, or manufacturing.

     

    Pay & Shift Information

    Shift Options:

    1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm,** **$19.38/h

     

    2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm,** **$20.15/h

     

    3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am,** **$21.32/h

     

    Shift availability may vary based on business needs.

     

    What are your Responsibilities?

     

    Perform hobbing on cups for experimental and production cavities** **_Hobbing is a precision forming process where a hardened tool (a_** **_hob_** **_) is pressed into a softer material to create the required cavity shape._

     

    Prepare cup blanks for hobbing, including setup and material handling.

     

    Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of cavities.

     

    Cut raw materials for machining operations.

     

    Deliver finished cavities and parts to various company facilities.

     

    Assist with final finishing operations on silicone bronze mold cavities.

     

    Support experienced tooling personnel.

     

    Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

     

    Follow established safety, machining, and quality procedures.

     

    What Are Your Skills and Experience?

     

    The ability to read basic machine shop measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

     

    Basic understanding of hydraulic or electrical schematics is a plus.

     

    Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.

     

    Machine shop experience preferred.

     

    Vocational or technical school training preferred.

     

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.

     

    Detail-oriented, reliable, and safety‑focused.
