Maintenance Scheduler/Planner – 1st Shift
**Location:** Harrisonburg, VA
**Pay Rate:** $35/hour
**Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a **Scheduler/Planner – 1st Shift** to join their Maintenance Department. This position is critical for ensuring smooth production operations, and **expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a must-have requirement** .
Key Responsibilities
+ **Leverage CMMS daily** to plan, schedule, and track all maintenance activities.
+ Review and process work orders from multiple departments, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
+ Develop detailed maintenance schedules considering manpower, materials, and safety priorities.
+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely completion of maintenance work.
+ Maintain records, analyze performance data, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
+ **Hands-on experience with CMMS is required** —this is the core of the role.
+ Background in maintenance planning or scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
+ Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency with personal computers and relational databases.
