Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemicals Technician to join their team. As a Gas and Chemicals Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the site’s gas and chemical distribution systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Gas and Chemicals Technician

**Location:** Sunnyvale, CA

**Pay Range:** $19.89- 28hr

Shift:** Temporary shift M - F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm for initial training; subsequent shift ( **7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am)

What's the Job?

+ Support and lead the technical demands of the site's gas and chemical equipment across multiple buildings.

+ Ensure compliance with operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.

+ Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on gas, chemical, and slurry systems.

+ Handle and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers safely and efficiently.

+ Support installation, decommissioning, and complex problem resolution for various equipment types and vendors.

What's Needed?

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.

+ Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 40 lbs, climbing ladders, and working with PPE including respirators.

+ Experience or familiarity with gas and chemical distribution equipment is a plus.

+ Willingness to undergo comprehensive on-the-job training and technical qualification programs.
