Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their team. As an Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the Production Support team supporting critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Application Programmer III

**Location:** Plano, TX

**Pay Range:** $68.26

What's the Job?

+ Monitor and support production applications to ensure high availability and performance.

+ Perform incident management, triage, and root cause analysis for production issues.

+ Coordinate with infrastructure and development teams for releases, upgrades, and troubleshooting.

+ Participate in disaster recovery and resiliency exercises to ensure system robustness.

+ Generate metrics reports and manage application capacity to meet business demands.

What's Needed?

+ Hands-on experience with Unix and Shell Scripting.

+ Proficiency with databases such as Oracle and Teradata.

+ Experience with Hadoop and ETL tools like Informatica.

+ Knowledge of monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneous and Splunk.

+ Understanding of ITIL concepts including Incident and Problem Management.
