Our client, a leading organization in the autonomous mobility industry, is seeking a dedicated CAD Engineer to join their team. As a CAD Engineer, you will be part of the CAD Support Team supporting design modifications, development, and documentation processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** CAD Engineer

**Location:** Foster City, CA

**Pay Range:** $79 Per Hour

What's the Job?

+ Design changes and modifications of CAD models based on guidance from part owners

+ Develop and mature CAD designs through interactive iterations with team members

+ Create clean sheet modeling including schematics and initial design iterations

+ Update and revise drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements

+ Generate standard model library content that is fully parametric and adaptable for various applications

What's Needed?

+ Proficiency in CATIA V6 and 3DX software for generating fully parametric solids

+ Strong knowledge of plastic and metallic part design, including manufacturing processes

+ Ability to create robust designs with proper attachment and datum systems

+ Understanding of tolerance stack-ups and basic mechanical integration requirements

+ Experience in developing Class-A Design Surface data and generating/modifying drawings according to ASME Y14.5 standards with GD&T expertise
