• Assembler - 2nd/3rd Shift

    Adecco is seeking entry level and experienced Assemblers for a client in Clyde, NY.     Shift Times:

    2nd – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm

     

    3rd - 10:00 pm to 6:30 am

    Responsibilities:

    + Access and interpret prints and online work instructions to build components to required specifications.

    + Interpret and follow engineering drawings, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.

    + Report any issues related to quality, process, equipment, or materials to appropriate personnel or departments.

    + Participate actively in lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying improvement opportunities and attending required training.

    + Inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges, comparators).

    + Utilize various magnification tools to identify potential surface damage or defects.

    + Visually inspect parts for burrs, scratches, or other machining imperfections.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Successful completion of all required pre-employment assessments

    + General manufacturing experience

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

    + Proficiency in selecting appropriate tools, techniques, and equipment per specifications

    + Skilled in using measuring instruments such as comparators, micrometers, calipers, and pin/wire gauges

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

    + Good communication and teamwork skills
