    **Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Formulation Laboratory Associate** for a notable, global personal care and cosmetics organization located in **Clark, NJ** . This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist to gain hands-on experience supporting skincare formulation development within a fast-paced R&D environment.

    **Pay** : 25-28/hr based on education and relevant experience

    Position Overview

    Under close supervision, the Formulation Laboratory Associate will support the development of skincare products including creams, lotions, serums, toners, and SPF formulations. This role involves preparing laboratory batches, monitoring stability, documenting experimental results, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure product quality and performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Assist in lab-scale formulation and batching of skincare products to support development and commercialization

    + Perform and monitor stability testing, including tracking appearance, color, odor, viscosity, pH, and overall aesthetics

    + Evaluate formula specifications using laboratory tools such as pH meters, viscometers, microscopes, and other standard instrumentation

    + Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of experiments in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems

    + Order and organize raw materials, reagents, and supplies required for formulation trials

    + Communicate stability issues, deviations, or observations to senior chemists or management in a timely manner

    + Interface with internal support groups (analytical, microbiology, processing, etc.) to submit and track testing requests

    + Adhere to all safety, EHS, SOP, and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized laboratory workspace

    + Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently while meeting established timelines and objectives

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science field (required)

    + 0–3 years of laboratory experience, preferably within cosmetics, personal care, or consumer products

    + Strong interest in the cosmetic and skincare industry

    + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills

    + Comfortable working under supervision in a team-based laboratory environment

    + Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

    + Computer literacy and familiarity with laboratory data systems preferred

    Work Environment

    + Onsite, laboratory-based role in Clark, NJ

    + Day shift

    + Hands-on bench work with routine standing, sitting, and laboratory activities

    **Pay Details:** $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
