Clerical Assistant
**Pay:** $16 per hour

Job Summary
Adecco has partnered with a client in Newburgh, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Clerical Assistant to support daily administrative and office operations. This role is essential to maintaining efficient office procedures, organized records, and timely communication across departments. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Perform general office duties including photocopying, scanning, filing, and data entry
+ Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
+ Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
+ Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems
+ Prepare, update, and format documents, reports, and correspondence
+ Schedule appointments and meetings and coordinate calendars
+ Greet visitors and provide general support to clients and staff
+ Order, track, and maintain office supplies inventory
+ Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional education or administrative training is a plus
+ Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
+ Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to sit for extended periods
+ Light lifting of office supplies and materials (up to 20 lbs)
+ Regular use of standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and phones
**Pay Details:** $16.00 per hour
