Job Description
As a Quality Control Technician, you will work on the production line to perform quality control checks. Your role involves conducting basic testing on products, including assessments of salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture. You will also be responsible for checking Critical Control Points using metal detectors and x-ray machines, conducting pre-operation inspections, and performing microbiological and allergen swabbing.
Responsibilities
+ Perform quality control checks on the production line.
+ Conduct basic testing on products, including salt, acid, viscosity, and moisture.
+ Check Critical Control Points using metal detectors and x-ray machines.
+ Conduct pre-operation inspections.
+ Perform microbiological and allergen swabbing.
+ Oversee 1-2 production lines at a time.
+ Manage sample loads, with up to 10 samples an hour.
+ Report to the Site QA Manager and collaborate with the quality lead.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in quality assurance or quality control.
+ Familiarity with HACCP and PCQI.
+ Manufacturing and GMP experience.
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
+ Proactive in managing workload for the upcoming week.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bolingbrook, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
