Job Title: SchedulerJob Description
The Scheduler will provide essential project administration support services to Practice teams. This role demands a strong sense of ownership and accountability, focusing on developing and maintaining resource-loaded project schedules, updating them in collaboration with various stakeholders, and reporting on project and resource statuses. This position will require coordination with Practice Project Coordinators and Practice Project Controls Analysts and may involve travel.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules by working closely with Practice teams and Practice Project Coordinators.
+ Lead periodic meetings with Functional Leads and Practice Project Coordinators using technology such as WebEx for remote locations.
+ Utilize data gathering tools to collect project and resource scheduling information.
+ Monitor project scope changes and update schedules and resource plans accordingly.
+ Regularly record project status updates by collaborating with Practice Project Coordinators.
+ Perform resource leveling and provide analysis to assist Practice teams in achieving project goals within time, cost, and quality parameters.
+ Provide periodic and ad-hoc reports on project performance, including CPIs, SPIs, quality scores, resource utilization, and forecasts.
+ Develop and maintain a project risk register and ensure it is current, reflecting impacts on schedules and costs.
+ Monitor project actuals for accurate billing and data transfer to scheduling software.
+ Ensure project information and statuses are correct for timely and accurate invoicing.
+ Coordinate best practices sharing with resource analyst teams across different office locations.
+ Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
+ Work independently, providing feedback for evidence-based decision-making.
+ Keep direct manager informed of developments and improvement opportunities.
+ Work under the supervision and guidance of the Scheduling Lead.
+ Perform additional tasks based on business needs.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with scheduling, construction, and project controls.
+ Proficiency in analysis and scheduling tools, specifically with four+ years of experience using the P6 scheduling tool.
+ Ability to interface with engineering, construction, planning, and project management audiences.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction/Project Management, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an Associate Degree with equivalent experience.
+ Four+ years of experience in scheduling or project controls for construction, design, or capital development projects.
+ Minimum two years of experience in managing a portfolio of projects for planning, controlling activities, and resource management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiency in using web-based communication tools like WebEx.
Work Environment
The office is a quiet engineering environment with a business casual dress code. Teamwork is highly encouraged and occurs frequently.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
