The Project Controls Analyst will develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules. They will provide cost-loaded schedules as well as completed ready-to-execute resource-loaded and logic-driven schedules. Additionally, they will conduct schedule maintenance, collect progress data, develop and implement project schedule/status reports, and provide consistent, accurate information to the project team. Mentoring and training less experienced Project Controls Analysts will also be part of their role.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform all Primavera project schedule and cost-related updates throughout the lifecycle of projects assigned.

    + Interface with engineering, construction, planning, project management, and other transmission partners to verify updated Primavera schedule, resource, and cost information.

    + Conduct and lead project schedule baseline review meetings with team members.

    + Analyze project progress and make recommendations as to forecasted costs.

    + Maintain estimated costs in Primavera.

    + Perform final project assessment to ensure compliance with PCG standards.

    + Assist in developing metrics and measures for the TE&PS project portfolio.

    + Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.

    + Ensure planning, engineering, construction, and project management are following PLMP processes.

    + Mentor and train less experienced Project Controls Analysts.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Primavera scheduling and cost updates.

    + Strong analytical skills for project progress analysis.

    + Effective communication skills to interface with various departments.

    + Experience in developing project control standards and guidelines.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Business.

    + Three to seven years of experience in scheduling or project controls in construction.

    + Three to seven years of experience interfacing with engineering, construction, planning, and project management.

    + Three to seven years of experience using scheduling software.

    Work Environment

    The office is an engineering office environment that is quiet in nature. The dress code is business casual. Teamwork is highly encouraged and happens frequently.

    This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $35.10/hr.
