Description
JOB OVERVIEW:
- Main scope of work will be performing classified heavy modifications on various fixed wing military aircraft
- You will remove existing systems from the aircraft and then install wire harnesses throughout entire aircraft and terminate dozens of different types of connectors.
Some work four tens, some work five eights
Never/Rarely any weekends
Must be flexible if the team needs you to work 2nd shift for a period of time
~ 75% of workforce is on 1st/Day Shift
~ 25% of workforce is on 2nd/Swing Shift
OVERTIME SITUATION:
Often available based on program need but no guarantees
CONTRACT LENGTH:
Long Term Open Ended (no end date) with the ability to go direct if desired (generally around the 6 months)

Additional Skills & Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- 4+ Years’ Avionics Experience
- Experience terminating connectors
- Experience working with several different types of crimpers (at least 3 or more)
- Must own tools & the toolbox must be shadowed with the tools etched or colored by Day 1
COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance through Aerotek
- FAA Drug Test
- 7 Year Background Check

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
