Electrical Engineer (HYBRID)

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will focus on the design and engineering of power, lighting, grounding/bonding, and special systems such as data, security, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

+ Layout electrical systems in conformance with code requirements and in coordination with other design disciplines.

+ Conduct basic field investigations to integrate design with existing systems and structures.

+ Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure a coordinated and complete design.

+ Work on projects of basic complexity under the direction of more experienced Electrical Engineers.

+ Self-check own work to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Participate in various stages of project work including studies, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

+ 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in a design firm setting

+ Revit proficiency

+ Fundamentals of Engineering Exam registration or completion preferred

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Fundamental experience with performing engineering calculations

+ Ability to interface with clients and external partners

+ Ability to travel for client development and project execution

+ Experience conducting field surveys and supporting field reporting

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Conshohocken, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
