Project TechnicianPosition Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Technician to support and coordinate a wide range of industrial and facility‑related projects. This role involves work across electrical and plumbing systems, operations and maintenance (O&M), decontamination, demolition, and general facility operations. The position requires strong coordination skills, a focus on safety, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Staff coordination and scheduling, including oversight of direct reports
+ Manage day‑to‑day project activities, including ordering equipment and materials
+ Coordinate subcontractors and develop detailed work plans
+ Ensure safety compliance through proper documentation, procedures, and equipment
+ Serve as a client liaison to maintain standards and identify additional support needs
+ Maintain accurate project documentation and support overall workflow
Essential Skills
+ 10+ years of project coordination experience
+ Background in MEP, water/wastewater, facility operations, or machine guarding
+ Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
+ Comfortable in client‑facing communication
+ Expertise in material coordination, subcontractor oversight, and logistics
+ Strong organizational and project management skills
+ Experience in facility or facility‑management environments
Additional Qualifications
+ College degree preferred but not required
+ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Willingness to travel as needed for project support

This is a Contract position based out of Plainville, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.25/hr.
