    Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description

     

    As a vital member of the patient care team, you will assist providers and nursing staff with daily office duties in a fast-paced cardiology office.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform specific duties that support patient care.

    + Take and record vitals.

    + Conduct client intake.

    + Room patients efficiently, with an expectation to room patients every 20 minutes.

    + Document patient interactions and information accurately.

    + Work in an outpatient setting.

    Essential Skills

    + Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required before permanent start date.

    + At least 1 year of experience in medical assisting; entry-level candidates will be considered if they demonstrate strong capabilities.

    + Proficiency in patient care and triage.

    + Experience with EKG and stress testing.

    + Familiarity with electronic health records.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Medical Assistant diploma.

    + Cardiology experience is a plus.

    + Specialty experience is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment

    Work in a family-oriented, yet super busy cardiology office located across multiple sites including Glastonbury, Avon, West Hartford, Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, and Norwich. The role requires availability from 7:15 AM to 5:00 PM for a full-time schedule.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glastonbury, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
