    Job Title: Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

    Job Description

    The Instrumentation and Controls Engineer will be responsible for writing and reviewing functional specifications, drafting technical documents, creating and reviewing calculations, and evaluating electrical designs to determine the appropriate instrumentation. This role focuses on vendor management and adhering to project designs, specifications, timelines, and scopes rather than programming.

    Responsibilities

    + Write and review functional specifications.

    + Draft and review technical documents.

    + Create and review engineering calculations.

    + Evaluate electrical designs for appropriate instrumentation selection.

    + Manage vendor relationships and ensure adherence to project timelines and scopes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in instrumentation and PLC programming.

    + Expertise in automation and controls engineering.

    + Strong experience in electrical engineering and SCADA systems.

    + Ability to troubleshoot and commission equipment.

    + Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.

    + 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.

    + 3+ years of experience in design review.

    + 3+ years of experience writing and reviewing technical documents.

    + 3+ years of experience at a systems integrator or large custom OEM.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + Experience in instrumentation controls and engineering.

    Work Environment

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and facilities, contributing to the development of radioisotopes for cancer treatment. The role requires collaboration with a team that includes another I&C Engineer, an electrical engineer, field engineers, and systems and manufacturing groups. The position is based in Fitchburg, with a flexible arrangement of 2-3 days on-site per week if needed.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

     

    They will get full access to health, dental and vision including 401k.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Madison,WI.
