Position Summary
We are seeking a Scheduler to provide essential project administration and scheduling support to our Practice teams. This role requires strong ownership, accountability, and expertise in developing and maintaining resource-loaded project schedules. The Scheduler will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, monitor project progress, and deliver accurate reporting to ensure projects meet time, cost, and quality objectives. Occasional travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules in collaboration with Practice teams and Project Coordinators.
+ Lead periodic meetings with Functional Leads and Project Coordinators, leveraging tools such as WebEx for remote coordination.
+ Gather and analyze project and resource scheduling data.
+ Monitor scope changes and update schedules and resource plans accordingly.
+ Record project status updates and perform resource leveling to support project goals.
+ Provide periodic and ad-hoc performance reports (CPIs, SPIs, quality scores, resource utilization, forecasts).
+ Maintain a project risk register and ensure timely updates reflecting schedule and cost impacts.
+ Monitor project actuals for accurate billing and data transfer to scheduling software.
+ Ensure project information is accurate for timely invoicing.
+ Share best practices with resource analyst teams across office locations.
+ Contribute to the development of project control standards and guidelines.
+ Work independently while keeping the Scheduling Lead and direct manager informed of progress and improvement opportunities.
+ Perform additional tasks as required by business needs.
Qualifications
+ Education:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Construction/Project Management, Engineering, or related technical field
+ OR Associate Degree with equivalent experience
+ Experience:
+ 4+ years in scheduling or project controls for construction, design, or capital development projects
+ Minimum 2 years managing a portfolio of projects for planning, controlling activities, and resource management
+ Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in scheduling and project control tools, with 4+ years of experience using Primavera P6
+ Strong analytical skills and ability to interface with engineering, construction, and project management teams
+ Additional Skills:
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills
+ Proficiency in web-based communication tools (e.g., WebEx)

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
