Job Title: Phlebotomist (Floating Position)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Float to join our team. This role offers hands-on phlebotomy experience in various outpatient settings and includes float positions. Successful candidates will be responsible for drawing, processing, and packaging blood samples while communicating effectively with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws and sample shipments.
Responsibilities
+ Draw patient blood samples 25-30 times per day.
+ Properly process and package blood samples for shipment.
+ Coordinate with clinic staff daily to schedule blood draws and sample pick-ups/shipping to the medical testing sites.
+ Travel to all locations needed.
Essential Skills
+ At least 1-2 Years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant, including drawing, processing, and packaging samples.
+ Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate.
+ Experience with 200 plus solo draws.
+ Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer order of draw tube colors for multiple tube collections.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma.
Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Locations need to Float to : Westland, Allen Park, Canton, Dearborn Heights, Riverview, Livonia. (Milage Pay Included)!

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Novi, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
