We are seeking a dedicated civil engineer with a strong background in surveying and design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in surveying, as well as expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing land surveying activities for construction, boundary, and topographic projects. This role involves ensuring accurate data collection, compliance with safety standards, and timely delivery of survey results. When not engaged in surveying, responsibilities will include designing using Civil 3D and MicroStation.
Responsibilities
+ Plan, coordinate, and execute land surveying activities for various projects.
+ Ensure accuracy and completeness of all survey work.
+ Deliver survey results in a timely manner, complying with project scope and budget.
+ Design using Civil 3D and MicroStation when not surveying.
+ Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills in dynamic field environments.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 4-8 years of land surveying experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
+ Proficiency with GPS, total stations, data collectors, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
+ Knowledge of survey computations and plan interpretation.
+ Valid driver's license.
+ Knowledge of NYS DOT rules and regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
+ Familiarity with Alta surveys, site development, grading, and site design.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $67000.00 - $97000.00/yr.
