    Job Title: Mechanical Designer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in mechanical design, particularly with 3D modeling and SolidWorks. This role involves working independently on medium-scale projects and requires excellent communication and time management skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate independently on medium-scale assigned projects.

    + Fully model and create parts and assemblies in SolidWorks for various projects.

    + Create and revise fully detailed engineering prints.

    + Provide technical direction for prototype builds and initial builds as required.

    + Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication.

    + Create and release projects through the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process.

    + Conform to drafting and department standards and processes.

    + Lead designers as appropriate on jobs and projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating a 3D design tool, preferably SolidWorks.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Knowledge of sheet metal design.

    + Understanding of engineering drawing guidelines and standards.

    + Excellent time management skills.

    + Knowledge of electromechanical switchgear.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Mechanical design experience.

    + 3D modeling skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Oshkosh, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
