Job Title: Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for each shift who will be responsible for effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all machinery and facility equipment throughout the plant.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain machinery throughout the plant, including powder coating lines, conveyor lines, hoists, blast booths, ovens, saws, welders, and plasma cutters.

+ Troubleshoot electrical systems regularly up to 3-phase 480v, change out electrical motors, and follow schematics when available.

+ Install new machinery using material handling equipment, lifts, and/or pour concrete.

+ Complete detailed preventative maintenance schedules.

+ Troubleshoot PLC systems by following ladder logic, if necessary.

+ Perform facilities maintenance, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.

+ Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.

+ Regularly use multi-meters for maintenance tasks.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience.

+ Mechanical maintenance experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and conveyors.

+ Electrical troubleshooting experience, including reading schematics, using multimeters, and troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase.

+ PLC troubleshooting skills, including reading ladder logic and troubleshooting relays/switches/sensors.

+ Facility maintenance experience, including lighting, plumbing, carpentry, and overhead doors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PLC programming experience is beneficial.

+ Certifications, degrees, or completed courses involving a skilled trade are advantageous.

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is a powder coating facility that processes finished products from other plants in the area. The facility includes equipment such as welders, blast booths, large lay-down yards, and ovens. It can be a hotter environment and is often fast-paced. The shifts available are 3rd shift from 10 pm to 6:30 am with a shift differential, and a weekend day shift from 6 am to 4 pm or 6 pm with a higher shift differential. You can expect to work an average of 40-50 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
