Job Title: Facility Technician
Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for overseeing daily maintenance tasks at two hotels, ensuring that all maintenance work performed by outside vendors is completed to high standards. A experience in HVAC systems, particularly those in large buildings such as hotels, is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise maintenance work performed by outside vendors, ensuring tasks are completed correctly.
+ Utilize knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, and painting to evaluate vendor work.
+ Discuss and resolve any discrepancies in maintenance work before approving it.
+ Commute between two hotel locations using the tri-rail.
+ Troubleshoot issues for hotel guests, such as malfunctioning automatic shades or TVs.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years HVAC experience, specifically in building maintenance within apartment complexes or hotels.
+ Ability to troubleshoot hotel guest issues.
+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
+ Customer service experience.
+ Technical proficiency with tablets and other digital technologies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in hotel or apartment complex maintenance, particularly with HVAC and boilers.
+ Bilingual abilities are a plus.
+ Technical savviness is highly desirable.

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
