Job Title: High Reach Forklift Operator (Bus Route Accessible)

Job Description

We are seeking skilled forklift operators who will be responsible for supplying assemblers with materials for production and transporting completed parts to shipping for delivery. The role also involves working in the shipping/receiving area to load trucks with completed parts ready for delivery. Candidates must be proficient in operating both high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

Responsibilities

+ Supply materials to assemblers for production.

+ Transport completed parts to the shipping area for delivery.

+ Work in the shipping/receiving area to load trucks with completed parts.

+ Operate high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating high reach stand-up and sit-down forklifts.

+ Ability to handle materials and work in a warehouse environment.

+ Skill in shipping and receiving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must pass a forklift test demonstrating safe and effective operation of a high reach forklift.

Work Environment

The facility is a bustling and customer-focused environment with numerous forklifts and personnel operating in tight quarters. It is important to have a strong attention to safety. The facility is not climate-controlled, so expect warm conditions in the summer and cooler temperatures in the winter. As this is a union environment, candidates will be required to pay union dues.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.93 - $27.80/hr.
