    Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

     

    In this position, you will be responsible for receiving products, primarily raw materials, into the plant. Duties include unpackaging products, verifying counts according to paperwork or Bills of Lading, performing visual quality inspections, documenting product counts and part numbers in the computer database, and storing them in the appropriate location. You will also need to print and affix labels to products before storage.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and unpackage raw materials into the plant.

    + Verify product counts and inspect for quality.

    + Document product counts and part numbers in the computer database.

    + Store materials in the correct location.

    + Print and affix labels to products before storage.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of material handling experience

    + Experience with forklifts

    + Ability to use computers for documentation

    + Experience with inventory, picking, and loading

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous assembly experience

    + Previous mechanical repair work

    + Experience working on government contracts

    Work Environment

    This is a clean, well-lit facility that manufactures trailers for the military. The plant is divided into three areas: machining/fabrication, assembly, and paint shop. The assembly area features tall ceilings and is divided into cells for trailer assembly. The facility is heated in the winter but not air-conditioned in the summer, which can make it warm. Noise from air tools is present but not consistent. The plant employs about 100 people, all working the first shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, with the potential for overtime.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Clintonville, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
