Job Title:** **Assembler
Description:
**We are seeking an Assembler** to join our high-volume manufacturing team. The role involves assembling components and related parts with precision and efficiency, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assemble components and associated parts according to specifications.
+ Perform material movement, including placing parts in fixtures and handling components safely.
+ Operate and monitor automation equipment as required.
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality.
+ Utilize hand and power tools effectively in the assembly process.
Required Skills:
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
+ Experience in general production or manufacturing environments.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Ability to work on a production line and meet daily output goals.
Additional Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical work preferred.
+ Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Familiarity with hand and power tools in a production setting.
Experience Level:
**Entry-Level** – Training provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cowden, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
