    Job Title: Construction Helper $18-19/hr (Weekly Pay)

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic construction technicians to join our team. This role involves working as part of a crew to install HVAC systems in new residential constructions. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills in the construction industry, with no prior experience required, as we provide on-the-job training and support.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload tools and materials at the construction site.

    + Measure distances accurately with a tape measure.

    + Use hand and power tools effectively.

    + Fabricate or alter parts on-site using tools such as shears, hammers, punches, or drills.

    + Maintain personal and company tools and equipment.

    + Apply mastic on ductwork.

    + Install Flex Duct/Register Boots in building attics.

    + Perform other related tasks as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous outdoor work experience and comfort working in all weather conditions.

    + Reliability and ability to drive directly to job sites daily.

    + Ability to use a tape measure and willingness to learn quickly.

    + Willingness to learn construction skills and retain knowledge about HVAC systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Any prior construction experience is preferred but not required.

    + Certifications are preferred but not required.

    + Ability to take direction well from a Project Manager.

    + Ability to work professionally with a crew on-site.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work on construction sites daily, directly traveling to job sites without reporting to an office. The role involves working with a crew of 4-6 people. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with optional Saturdays. Contractors must wear their own work boots and appropriate clothing, although steel-toe boots are not required. All necessary PPE, including hard hats, vests, gloves, glasses, and hearing protection, will be provided.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glenshaw, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
