    Job Title: Sr. Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Sr. Mfg Equipment Maintenance Technician, where your work will contribute to important causes such as finding cures for cancer, protecting the environment, and ensuring food safety.     Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and repair on various manufacturing and testing instrumentation.

    + Conduct routine repairs on a daily basis.

    + Provide technical support to internal customers regarding operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.

    + Work independently, prioritizing service calls, preventive maintenance, and projects, occasionally requiring direction from the lead or supervisor.

    + Maintain your own tool inventory to ensure an adequate supply for performing duties.

    + Collaborate with the team and administrator to ensure a sufficient supply of spare parts in the stockroom, specifying and requesting the purchase of components.

    + Complete all administrative duties, including documenting maintenance and repair calls in SAP and completing necessary documentation and reports.

    + Ensure proficiency and compliance with ISO standards and practices.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.

    + 1-2 years of experience in Field Service or In-House Service.

    + Robotic experience is required; experience with platforms such as Starlet, Agilent Bravo, Tecan Evo, Genesis, Biomek FX, and NX is highly desirable.

    + Experience with DNA/RNA synthesizers, including models like ABI 3900, 394 BioAutomation Mermade, and Dr Oligo, is highly desirable.

    + Experience handling hazardous materials and hazardous waste.

    + Experience with pneumatic instruments and vacuum systems.

    + Experience with general handheld tools, multi-meters, and other electronic test equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with manual pipetting is preferred.

    + Experience with FDA-regulated system development/design control is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment at the Pleasanton manufacturing plant. You'll engage in process improvements, participate in kaizen events, and contribute to technical writing and ongoing projects. The role requires working independently, with occasional direction from supervisors, and adhering to ISO standards and practices.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
