Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our team as a utility person to assist with a Packing Project. This role is essential in supporting the plant's operational needs.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading tasks.
+ Support general production and labor activities.
+ Operate forklifts and move materials efficiently.
+ Stage pallets and organize packaging lines.
+ Perform manual and physical labor outdoors.
+ Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
+ Collaborate effectively with team members in an assembly line process.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in material handling and general production labor.
+ Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
+ Proficiency in using a forklift.
+ Ability to read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.
+ Reliable transportation is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in packing and packaging lines.
+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
