Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in the production of pre-cast concrete structures for sanitation and storm drainage purposes. As a machine operator, you will operate the Schlusselbauer machine, a highly automated dry cast machine used for creating concrete castings. Your attention to detail and ability to retain information will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

+ Assist in the production of pre-cast concrete structures.

+ Operate the Schlusselbauer machine with precision and accuracy.

+ Ensure the efficient functioning of the automated machine controls.

+ Maintain a keen attention to detail throughout the production process.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation, particularly outside the medical setting.

+ Strong attention to detail and information retention.

+ Mechanical inclination, such as working on personal vehicles, assembling furniture, or landscaping.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure.

+ Willingness to work occasionally on Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in general labor and heavy equipment operation.

+ Familiarity with crane and forklift operation.

+ Experience in blending, mixing, and working with concrete.

Work Environment

Work in a large facility spread across two buildings and a storage yard. While all work is conducted indoors, expect a dirtier environment that can be chilly in winter and warmer in summer. Safety is prioritized with all necessary personal protective equipment provided, including steel-toed boots with metatarsal guards. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, from 2pm to 12am, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stacy, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
