Job Title: EVS Aide - Mission Viejo

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated EVS Aide responsible for maintaining cleanliness in patient rooms and common areas within a hospital setting. The role includes specialized floor care and involves working closely with nursing staff.

1st shift - 7am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

+ Clean and maintain patient rooms after discharges, including trash removal, linen cleaning, and floor mopping.

+ Perform detailed cleaning of bathrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met.

+ Execute specialized floor care tasks such as stripping, buffing, and waxing.

+ Clean common areas such as lobbies, elevators, and hallways.

+ Read and complete work orders, including trash removal and spill requests.

+ Handle biohazard materials safely and effectively.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in janitorial duties and housekeeping.

+ Proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing techniques.

+ Ability to perform custodial tasks, including mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.

+ Strong customer service skills.

+ Fluency in English for effective communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Preferred: 1 year of high-volume experience in settings such as hospitals, hotels, schools, universities, office buildings, sports arenas, or amusement parks.

Work Environment

This role operates on the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with rotating weekends as a mandatory requirement. The work environment is a hospital setting, requiring interaction with medical staff and exposure to medical environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mission Viejo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
