    Job Description

    Join our team as a Welder specializing in TIG welding aluminum. You'll work with a TIG welder machine equipped with a foot pedal, primarily focusing on fusing the corners of pizza pans with four welds at 90-degree angles. Starting with tacking, you will gradually expand your skills. In addition to creating pizza pans, you may also have the opportunity to produce pizza cutters and other products for commercial pizza chains, as well as perform some MIG welding on stainless steel to weld racks.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding on aluminum, focusing on pizza pans and other products.

    + Fuse corners of pizza pans with precision using TIG welding techniques.

    + Engage in tacking to start and develop welding skills.

    + Read and interpret blueprints accurately to ensure proper welding.

    + Cross-train into different departments based on business needs.

    + Maintain attendance and a positive attitude in the workplace.

    + Achieve a production target of approximately 400 pans per day after training.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG welding, particularly with aluminum.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Attention to detail and precision in welding.

    + Basic welding experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to cross-train into different departments.

    + Capability to perform MIG welding on stainless steel.

    + Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility is a clean environment with multiple production lines and various departments. You will spend 85-90% of your time welding aluminum and may also weld stainless steel 10-15% of the time. The work environment is supportive and focused on achieving high-quality production standards.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.75/hr.
