    Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift

    Job Description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve equipment used in plastics and metals operations. The position includes direct placement opportunities and requires working from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain, troubleshoot, and fix equipment used in plastics and metals operations.

    + Ensure good housekeeping in any assigned area and adherence to all company policies and safety rules.

    + Execute preventative maintenance according to the schedule to minimize equipment downtime.

    + Complete reactive maintenance on production lines by repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

    + Use troubleshooting skills to identify and solve equipment improvements.

    + Perform machine tear down, repair, and assembly.

    + Collaborate with team members and operators to ensure the daily production schedule is met.

    + Start up and shut down all production equipment and systems.

    + Conduct equipment inspections and verify proper working conditions.

    + Safely operate a forklift.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills.

    + 3 years or more of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting.

    + Experience with PLC troubleshooting and controls.

    + Experience with robotics is advantageous.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in Injection Blow Molding and Plastics is a big plus.

    + Steel toe boots are required.

    + Basic tools will be provided; however, having your own is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    The position requires working in a highly robotic, automated facility specializing in plastic injection blow molding. The work environment involves handling advanced machinery, including lasers and conveyors. The role operates on the 3rd shift with hours from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays. The dress code includes steel toe boots

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $58300.00 - $72800.00/yr.
