Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Job Description

The Line Inspector / Floral Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting pre-production (inbound) and post-production (outbound) quality inspections of flowers and floral products to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications. This position functions as a critical quality control checkpoint in a wholesale flower bouquet distribution environment.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct pre-production and post-production quality inspections of flowers and floral products.

+ Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.

+ Identify floral defects such as bruising, dehydration, or improper assembly.

+ Work independently and as part of a team to maintain quality control standards.

+ Utilize basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tracking systems.

+ Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or GED required.

+ Experience in quality control, floral wholesale, bouquet production, agriculture, food production, or a quality inspection role preferred.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Spanish language proficiency required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in floral inspection, production line, and line inspection.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality tracking systems.

+ Ability to assist in training production employees on quality inspection standards.

+ Participate in quality improvement discussions and recommend process enhancements.

+ Support special projects or audits related to floral quality or waste reduction.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hyde Park, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
