Job Description

The position of Assembler is responsible for the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell team. This role involves detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery, including electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging, all according to documented procedures.

Responsibilities

+ Clean tools and equipment per documented procedures.

+ Assemble medical devices and related components in a controlled cleanroom environment.

+ Utilize microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering, adhesive bonding, and operate various equipment.

+ Perform routine assignments according to specified and standardized procedures with close and continual review.

+ Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies.

+ Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment.

+ Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools.

+ Package devices ensuring all parts are accurate and documentation is complete.

+ Maintain accurate records to ensure travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents are accurate, traceable, and address quality issues.

+ Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment when performing all operations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in assembly and machine operation, specifically in the medical device sector.

+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

+ Proficiency in medical device production and assembly.

+ Basic English communication skills.

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 6 months of manufacturing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in food service can be beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing and cleanroom setting, utilizing tools such as microscopes. The dress code requires professional attire with guidelines prohibiting clothing with suggestive or derogatory language, exposed the person, or revealing clothing. Jeans must be professionally appropriate without rips or stains. Adhere to Global Gowning Procedures, and note that no make-up, false eyelashes, eye lash extensions, or jewelry are allowed.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Temecula, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $22.83/hr.
