What You’ll Do:

* Perform computer-aided drafting and design for life safety and security systems in advanced facilities.

* Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers.

* Assist in developing layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems.

* Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience in drafting and BIM design, ideally in life safety systems.

* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

* High school graduate or equivalent

* At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience

Ideally, you’ll also have:

* 3-5 years of Revit design experience

* Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code

* Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer equipment

* Industrial design experience

* Autodesk Certification Professional ACP or other drafting technologies certifications
