By joining us, we’ll look to you to perform data collection, analysis, design, technical studies, and prepare reports associated with sewer system, drainage, and flood control related components for water and environmental projects.
Seeking advanced knowledge with hydraulic modeling including using SWMM, InfoWorks, HEC-RAS, and other similar software. Experience using GIS to support engineering studies, and preparation of environmental and engineering documents/maps is desired. Previous survey/CAD experience is a plus, including knowledge with LiDAR data, surveying, 3-D surfaces, and datum adjustments. Assist in the engineering calculations, stormwater management, report writing, and GIS analysis as it relates to reporting of completing hydraulic modeling.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, calibrate, and validate hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater, sewer, and watershed systems.
* Perform analyses for flood risk, drainage design, and water quality assessments.
* Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborate with engineers, planners, and project managers to integrate modeling results into design solutions.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to water resources.

Qualifications:
* Knowledge or experience with Hydraulic and Hydrologic modeling and GIS
* Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar
* Engineer in Training (EIT)
* 4-8 years’ experience in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
* MicroStation and AutoCAD experience including knowledge with LiDAR data, surveying, 3-D surfaces, and datum adjustments
* Project engineering experience related to performance of water resources, drainage, hydrology and hydraulics design related projects
* Knowledge and proficient use of Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint
* Ability to obtain Professional Engineer (PE) license
