    Job Title: Project Estimator

    Job Description

    We are urgently seeking an experienced Project Estimator to join our Construction and Contracting Division. The role involves overseeing pre-construction project management, focusing on environmental remediation and storage tank projects. This position offers the potential for a hybrid schedule with a 1st shift (Monday to Friday).

    Responsibilities

    + Manage bids for public, state, federal, local, and private proposals.

    + Conduct cost, schedule, and risk analysis, and prepare proposals.

    + Review project scope, bid specifications, and attend bid meetings.

    + Prepare detailed construction budgets, schedules, and project costs.

    + Evaluate offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.

    + Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials and negotiating prices.

    + Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

    + Prepare special reports by summarizing information and trends.

    + Maintain continuity among teams by documenting and communicating actions and needs.

    + Handle 25-35 million in bids annually.

    + Attend pre-bid meetings and respond to RFIs and addendums.

    + Support technical scope of work with administrative assistance.

    + Use Procore for take-offs on drawings.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years’ experience in estimating, ideally in mechanical, electrical, or civil reconstruction.

    + Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

    + Experience with construction management, project management, and commercial construction.

    + Proficiency in Procore is preferred.

    + Mechanical and tank work experience is beneficial.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is a bonus.

    + Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.

    + Ability to source supplies, with most labor handled in-house.

    + Collaborative skills to work with sales teams on estimates and proposals.

    Work Environment

    The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
