Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team working 12-hour shifts on a 3-2-2 schedule. This role involves maintaining and repairing specialized machinery used in the glass industry, which includes automation systems, actuators, servos, motors, and PLCs. The Technician will receive training on our unique equipment, such as vacuum systems, glass cutting machines, polishers, and framing machines.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery involving mechanical and electrical components.

+ Troubleshoot and edit PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley PLC systems.

+ Perform mechanical tasks including working with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, sprockets, bearings, and chains.

+ Read and interpret electrical schematics accurately.

+ Engage in welding tasks as required.

+ Communicate effectively with managers and follow detailed instructions.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and editing PLCs.

+ Ability to read electrical schematics.

+ Experience with mechanical maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with DOS computer systems preferred.

+ Automation experience is a plus.

+ Welding skills are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Profit sharing of up to 52% of weekly pay (depending on metrics)
