    Production Associate/Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Join a private company specializing in the design and manufacture of advanced fuel systems, focusing on CNG fuel storage systems for trucks and big rigs. As a Production Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of these products.

     

    1st or 2nd shift available!

     

    1st Shift Monday to Friday 6am-2:30pm

     

    2nd Shift Monday to Friday 2:00pm - 12:30pm

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately interpret and prepare detailed work instructions and procedures.

    + Utilize assembly tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment proficiently.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and best practices.

    + Assist with filament winding operations, including resin application and tool maintenance.

    + Support rotomolding processes through material preparation and boss recovery tasks.

    + Perform tank labeling and foam dome installation with precision and care.

    + Assemble and package products to meet or exceed quality standards and delivery timelines.

    + Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items.

    + Clean and lubricate equipment.

    + Load and provide raw materials such as resin and paxon.

    + Support filament winding tasks such as resin squeezing and tool cleaning.

    + Dispose of all scrap resin, fiber, and cardboards.

    + Maintain housekeeping and 5S maintenance standards.

    + Work across different stations including Rotomold Operator, Trailer Assembler, Tube Bending, and Adapter/Volumetric/EOL Domes/Labels.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1.5 years of production or machine operation experience.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with visual instruction sheets or blueprints is a plus.

    + Knowledge of resin, epoxy, composite materials, Kevlar, pre-preg, fiberglass, and carbon fiber.

    + Familiarity with using a torque wrench is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a very clean, large manufacturing facility with multiple machines running. The environment is comfortable and not overly industrial. Mandatory overtime may result in 12-hour days and include Saturdays. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, either 6am-2:30pm or 2:00pm-12:30am.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Forest, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
