    Job Title: Painter** **Job Description

     

    As a Painter, you will receive and prepare surfaces for painting in accordance with project requirements and perform routine maintenance on paint shop tools and equipment. While prior painting or warehouse experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided.

    Responsibilities

    + Paint surfaces as per project specifications.

    + Set up materials and components for painting projects.

    + Perform routine maintenance on the Paint Booth and associated equipment.

    + Maintain accurate records of tasks performed and time spent on specific projects.

    + Regularly check the flow and viscosity of paint to ensure proper application.

    + Clean the paint shop floor and equipment regularly.

    + Perform regular checks on the ventilation system to ensure functionality.

    + Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, neat, and orderly condition while using prescribed safety equipment and following safety rules.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in painting and industrial painting techniques.

    + Experience with paint preparation and assembly.

    + Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

    + Capability to lift 20 pounds.

    + Familiarity with prep paint processes.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

    + Previous experience with industrial painting is advantageous.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
