Job Title: Molding Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Molding Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in production, general labor, or material handling, and be comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment. Experience with small parts or inventory is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Operate molding machines to produce silicone rubber implantable medical device components.

+ Perform quality checks and inspections of parts to ensure they meet specified standards.

+ Use molds, presses, and equipment effectively and safely.

+ Engage in general production tasks, including labeling, assembly, and machine operation.

+ Troubleshoot issues with molding machines and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 1-3 years of experience in production, general labor, or material handling.

+ Comfortable working in a GMP clean room environment.

+ Experience with small parts or inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in the medical device industry.

+ Familiarity with GMP protocols.

+ Ability to use microscopes and small hand tools.

+ Experience with molding operations, brake press, or any machine operation.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fully clean-room facility, requiring adherence to strict gowning and cleanliness protocols. Employees will work in shifts, with the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays. The facility is equipped with injection molding machines and computer/microscope stations for precision work. Proper attire, including specialized footwear, is provided to maintain the clean-room standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Lincolnshire, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.95/hr.
