Job Title: Packager** **Job Description

Join our team as a Packager in a dynamic copper manufacturing facility. You will have the opportunity to work across three different packaging stations, each offering a unique set of tasks. These include sorting and packaging straight copper tubing/piping, handling small diameter copper tubing directly from the machine, and working in a team to lift and package large bundles of coils.

Responsibilities

+ Sort and package straight copper tubing/piping.

+ Handle and sort small diameter copper tubing coming from the machine.

+ Collaborate in a team to lift and package large bundles of coils.

+ Maintain productivity in a fast-paced work environment.

+ Ensure all items are labeled and packaged correctly.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in general labor and production settings.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

+ Capability to stand for 10-12 hours per day.

+ Willingness to work weekends, particularly Saturdays.

+ Proficiency in packaging, packing, and labeling.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in packaging and sorting is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled, expansive manufacturing facility with approximately 250 employees. While there is ongoing construction resulting in some dust and clutter, the work areas remain clean and organized. Enjoy various shift options with differential pay rates for second and third shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sealy, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
