    Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to assist in building tanker trucks, complete products, and sub-assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive history in large assembly tasks and have the ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Install parts and sub-assemblies prior to and after the painting process.

    + Assemble and install pumps, valves, and piping systems.

    + Assemble and install drives and pulleys.

    + Test-run completed equipment prior to shipment.

    + Read and interpret blueprint detail drawings and dimension styles.

    + Update paperwork to reflect any changes.

    + Operate equipment safely, including Overhead Crane, Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, Cutting Torch, and other equipment as required.

    + Operate a forklift according to safe operating procedures, including acquisition and maintenance of a training certificate.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical assembly experience.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

    + Experience with large scale assembly.

    + Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.

    + Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.

    + Assembly line experience.

    + Schematic reading skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Welding experience is helpful.

    + Safe operation of equipment such as Ironworker, small Band Saw, Drill Presses, hand drills, Cutting Torch.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
