    Maintenance Technician $30 2nd shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems ranging from 120v to 480v. The ideal candidate will have the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and possess knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain equipment according to the Preventative Maintenance program.

    + Complete and maintain paperwork for maintenance performed.

    + Assist in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor.

    + Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other necessary equipment.

    + Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

    + Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery to minimize downtime.

    + Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.

    + Perform inspections of completed maintenance and document results.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance and welding.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting.

    + Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    + Experience with heavy equipment and fabrication.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Welding and fabrication skills.

    + Experience with machining.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor Mill, KY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
