Job Title: Shipping Specialist - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Shipping Specialist to oversee the shipping process, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to work instructions and parameters. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or industrial settings and be adept at operating tow motors and forklifts.

Responsibilities

+ Operate tow motors to move finished products from the warehouse to the shipping dock.

+ Unload trucks and railcars and place products in respective areas.

+ Load trucks and railcars efficiently.

+ Record and report data as required.

+ Process necessary paperwork needed for shipments to customers.

+ Notify proper personnel of received materials.

+ Follow F.I.F.O. process to maintain inventory accuracy.

+ Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.

+ Notify supervisors of any safety and quality issues.

+ Perform other duties as requested in accordance with contractual provisions.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing or industrial experience.

+ Forklift experience within the last two years.

+ Willingness to assist production if required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in hot work environments such as glass, textile, or automotive factories.

+ Injection molding or plastics experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is a large Tier 1 automotive factory that can reach temperatures over 100 degrees during hot days. All new hires will attend orientation on the first shift for the entire week. The facility operates on various shifts, each with two breaks and a lunch period. Overtime may be required, and the position offers a competitive hourly wage. Fiber glass is utilized in this facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH BALTIMORE, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.21 - $18.21/hr.
