    2nd: 3pm - 1:30am - $20.25

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team where you will operate punch presses and engage in assembly tasks. You will be cross-trained in various areas based on needs, such as drill presses, shear presses, punch presses, straightening presses, torches, overhead cranes, forklifts, saws, and more. Responsibilities include loading and unloading machines, monitoring machine operations to ensure product quality, maintaining clean work areas, performing housekeeping, and special cleanup duties as assigned, and utilizing hand and power tools effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate punch press machines efficiently.

    + Assist in final switch point assembly and grinding tasks.

    + Serve as a CNC drill helper/operator.

    + Build panels and pre-assemble, deburr points, and rails.

    + Utilize grinders, impacts, overhead cranes, and forklifts.

    + Contribute to the Frog Assembly Department using cranes, forklifts, and operating vertical and horizontal benders.

    + Run a punch press and operate bending machines for large guiderails.

    + Assemble brackets into place on guiderails using basic hand tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

    + Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.25/hr.
