*Title:*Echocardiographer 1 - Norwalk Hospital Non-Invasive Cardiology - Norwalk, CT. Per Diem, variable 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, some call, some weekends.

*Summary:*Performs all aspects of Echocardiography imaging, including Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Stress/Echo Testing and Pediatric Echocardiography. Performs Non-Invasive Cardiology Diagnostic testing which includes but is not limited to Stress Testing Holter Monitoring and ECG Testing and Reporting.

*Responsibilities:*

* Transthoracic Echocardiography testing, Transesophageal Echocardiography testing.

* Stress Echocardiography testing

* Pediatric Echocardiography

* Ambulatory monitoring, ECG's

* Troubleshooting, maintaining equipment and supplies.

* Insuring quality results and testing accuracy

* Attends continuing medical education and is actively involved in QA/CQI activities.

* Answering phones, scheduling patients

* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Required:*Graduate of a Cardiac Ultrasound program and sufficient skill and experience to sit for the Registry Boards. BLS

Minimum Experience: zero to six months

Desired: ECG Interpretation,

Salary Range: $33.21 - $61.68 hourly (Pay per years of relative experience)
